Age information |
|
You must be at least 21 years old to rent all vehicle groups at this location. If you are between 21 and 23 years old, you must pay a young driver surcharge of OMR 2.10 per day.
If you are over 72 years old, you cannot rent at this location. If you are over 65 years old you must pay a senior driver surcharge of OMR 2.10 per day

Payment options |

Deposit by Pre-Authorization is taken on the credit card at the time of renting the vehicle, depending on rental length, car group etc.
On return of the vehicle another Pre-Authorization will be taken to cover any traffic fines, damages etc. which might come at a later date.
Cash
Cash may be used for the payment of rental charges only.
Cash cannot be used for the deposit.
Debit Cards
Debit cards may be used to pay rental charges only.
Debit cards cannot be used for the deposit.

Taking your vehicle outside the country |
|
Budget vehicles can be taken out of Oman into the United Arab Emirates (UAE) only after seeking prior permission from Budget Oman and is subject to approval. The charge of OMR 21.00 per trip (valid for 7 days only) will be applicable if approved for travel. |

Collision Damage Waiver (CDW)
Collision Damage Waiver reduces your liability if the vehicle is damaged. If the vehicle is damaged, you will pay the cost of repair up to the excess amount.
CDW is included in most rates sold on Budget websites.
CDW is available at this location. The costs and excess charges are detailed in the table below. If your rate includes CDW this cost is already included in your rental price.
Super Collision Damage Waiver (SCDW)
Super CDW reduces the excess you would pay if the vehicle is damaged. The reduced excess is shown in the table below. Super CDW is also known as Excess Reduction.
Theft Protection (TP)
Theft Protection reduces your liability if the vehicle is stolen (subject to an excess). The costs and excess charges are detailed in the table below. If your rate includes Theft Protection this cost is already included in your rental price.

Personal Accident Insurance (PAI)
Personal Accident Insurance will be offered to drivers at the rental location. PAI costs OMR 2.00 per day.
The maximum coverage in case of disability (per person) is OMR 10,000.00
The maximum coverage in case of death (per person) is OMR 10,000.00
Third Party Liability
Third Party Liability covers drivers in case of damage, including damage to passengers and their property, when using a Budget vehicle.
Third party liability is included in the rental price.
Maximum coverage in case of damage to property is OMR 75,000.00 and will be governed by the Omani Law; whereas for death and injury it will be as per the Omani court decision, and both of these will be applicable for a claim or series of claims arising out of a single event.)
Maximum coverage in case of personal injury is OMR 15,000.00
Maximum coverage in case of death is OMR 15,000.00

Each driver must show photographic proof of identity and their passport at the start of the rental. All drivers must present a full and current driving licence which has been held for at least 1 year. The licence must be valid for use in the renting country.
If your licence was issued outside the European Community you must provide an International Driving Licence.

Fuel charges |
|
Vehicles are supplied with a full tank of fuel at the start of the rental. To avoid refuelling charges please return the car with a full tank of fuel.
If the fuel tank is not full, we will fill the tank and charge you for the fuel. Refuelling will be charged at additional 40 Baizas/litre to prevalent rate for Super petrol or diesel (subject to change in fuel prices). (5% VAT will be charged extra).
Unlimited mileage is included in POS EMEA rates
For POS non-EMEA and POS OMAN rates, 200 kms free per day / extra kms charges vary from USD 0.10 to USD 0.24 depending on the vehicle group |

Collecting and returning your vehicle |
|
Each driver must show photographic proof of identity and their passport at the start of the rental. All drivers must present a full and current driving licence. Valid Omani, American, European, UK, Australian, NZ, International and GCC licenses are accepted. Driving licence must be held for minimum 1 year and must be valid for use in the renting country
During Office Hours
If you are delayed and arrive outside of office hours due to a delayed flight no additional charge will apply. This only applies if you enter your flight number when booking.
If you are late we will guarantee your rental for 2 hours. After this time your reserved car may be released and rented to another customer.
Out of Office Hours - Collection
It may be possible to collect the vehicle out of office hours. This must be requested at the time of booking. The charge for this service is OMR 2.10. This service is not available if the rental is booked online.

If the vehicle is returned outside of office hours the driver is liable for damage or theft until the car has been inspected by a member of Budget staff.
You may return the vehicle out of hours if you request this at the time of booking. There is no charge for this service.
